Linguistic Capital

Critical analysis of Pierre Bourdieu's concepts of capital. The author examines Bourdieu's ideas, including economic, cultural, and social capital, by focusing on his own writings rather than secondary interpretations. The article contends that despite Bourdieu's intentions, his framework suffers from economic reductionism, treating various forms of social life and interaction as primarily driven by the logic of capital accumulation.
